Well compared with eight years ago I'd have to agree. . . the landscaping and brickwork alone is incredible from eight years ago.
Unfortunately, when compared with last season, the only changes that I encountered were the raise in price and a drop in entertainment value (and customers).

Funny I was there for the first time in 8 years or so (saw you btw!) and thought it was much improved!!!
I was in early about and hour before opening making a delivery and stayed till around 12noon
